Power Generation

The Power Generation Working Group is in charge of all topics related to power generation in France, from the energy mix issues to industrial policies lead by the French Government. Its members are power production companies. Over the last months, members of the Power Generation Working Group have played a great role in the process of opening French hydroconcessions to competition. They were also busy on drafting propositions to set up a capacity mechanisms market in France.

Power Supply

The Power Supply Working Group aims at working on better conditions to foster competition development which all consumers could benefit from. Over the last months and between over topics, they have been active on demand-side management, but also capacity market.

Olivier Puit, Director general at Alpiq Energie France chairs the Power Supply Working Group.

Gas

Both Generation & Production are dealt with within the Gas Working Group. There objectve is to enable a better competition in the French Gas Market. Over the last few months, the Gas Working Group members have worked on the reform of gas storage. They have been the first one to propose an auction system.
